The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Finland mourns the loss of life and expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims. The community is saddened to learn that at least two persons have been barbarically killed, with others who are severely injured.
The Holy Quran in fact champions the sanctity of human life and states:
“…whosoever killed a person, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind; and who so gave life to one, it shall be as if he had given life to all mankind.” (5:33)

“We Ahmadi Muslims sympathise and love humanity and so wherever mankind suffers in any way it leaves us grieved and pained. This latest attack follows the horrific attacks that have happened elsewhere in the world and it is clear that such murderers are bent on sowing the seeds of hatred and division. As before they will not succeed.
“Such acts find no hiding place in Islam for it rejects extremism and terrorism in any form and for any reason. We will continue to stand united against extremism and work with all who seek peace to defeat this ideology of hate. We continue to spread the message of Love for All, Hatred for None.”

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat is the promised revival of Islam, international in its composition which spans over 200 countries. This is the most dynamic denomination of Islam in modern history. Its current headquarters is in the United Kingdom.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat was established in 1889, by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) in a small and remote village of Qadian, in Punjab, India. He claimed to be the expected reformer of the latter days, the awaited one for the world community of religions. The movement he started is a benevolent message of Islam – peace, universal brotherhood and submission to the will of God in its pristine purity. Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat worldwide is the leading Islamic organization to categorically reject terrorism in any form. The Movement was founded under Divine guidance to rejuvenate Islamic moral & spiritual values.
It encourages interfaith dialogue and diligently tries to correct misunderstandings about Islam. It advocates peace, tolerance and understanding among followers of different faiths.
